The UKP-400S03K is a 3-pole, 400A rated AC switch-disconnector built on the same base/screw panel-mount platform as the standard UKP-400 series, but with one key layout difference: the operating handle is mounted on the side of the switch body rather than the front face.

This side-handle configuration is designed for indoor cabinet installations where front-panel space is limited, where the switch needs to sit close to an enclosure wall, or where panel layout constraints make a front-facing handle impractical to access or route safely.

Electrically and mechanically, it shares the full performance profile of the UKP-400 platform: on-load switching capability, a spring-stored energy mechanism for quick-make/quick-break operation, a visible contact position window for confirmed isolation.
