The UKP-1600F03P is a 1600A, 3-pole switch-disconnector configured for external (door-mounted) operation, using an extension shaft to connect the internally mounted switch body to a handle installed directly on the cabinet door.

This design allows the operator to switch the isolator from outside the enclosure without opening the panel door, improving operational safety by keeping personnel clear of live internal compartments during switching. Like the other 1600A frame models, the switch itself mounts via base/screw fixing inside the cabinet, but instead of an internal (indoor) handle, this variant routes operation to the exterior of the enclosure.

Electrically it shares the same high-performance ratings as the UKP-1600 series: selectable 1250A/1600A rated current, 1000V insulation voltage, 10kV dielectric strength, 12kV impulse withstand, up to 16,000A making capacity, 12,800A breaking capacity, 50kA short-time withstand current, and 110kA rated short-circuit making capacity.
