Located in the Sehnde-Ost industrial area, the Sehnde edge data center is a privately led project built to support the growing digital infrastructure needs of businesses in Lower Saxony. Because edge data centers handle localized, high-speed computing, continuous uptime is critical.
For the facility’s construction and future expansion, the project team needed power distribution components that balanced two requirements: strict cost control and absolute reliability.
KRIPAL worked alongside local power distribution equipment manufacturers to supply the key electrical parts, ensuring all components met rigorous German engineering standards (TÜV and VDE) while optimizing the procurement budget.
To support the rapid deployment and stable operation of the data center, KRIPAL provided modular, fully certified electrical components for different stages of the power distribution network.

Speed is a major factor in modern data center construction. Our components are designed to be modular, fitting easily into standard distribution boxes and prefabricated power modules. This approach reduced on-site cabling requirements and helped keep the installation schedule on track.
Every KRIPAL product supplied for the Sehnde project carries CE, VDE, and TÜV certifications, ensuring full compliance with the EU Low Voltage Directive and local grid regulations.
The Sehnde edge data center project in Germany is a typical case of collaborative innovation involving private capital, edge computing, and highly reliable power distribution.
Core Electric remains committed to strengthening its presence in the European market, providing fully certified, stable-performance electrical components to support more data centers in achieving efficient and safe power assurance, contributing Chinese expertise to global digital infrastructure.
