SPB series Class B surge protective device (SPD)
The SPB Series Class B Surge Protective Device (SPD) is engineered for AC 50/60Hz, up to 1000V, and lower, power supply systems including TT, IT, TN-S, TN-C-S, and photovoltaic (PV) AC/DC systems. It provides critical equipotential bonding at the boundaries between LPZ 0A-1, LPZ 0B-1, and LPZ 1-2. Designed in full compliance with GB/T 18802.11 and IEC 61643-11 standards, it features a compact housing for easy installation on a 35mm electrical DIN rail.
This robust protector includes an integrated failure disconnection mechanism. In case of SPD failure due to overcurrent, overheating, or electrical breakdown, this mechanism automatically disconnects the device from the power grid. A clear visual alarm indicator simultaneously changes from green (normal) to red (fault), providing instant status awareness. For enhanced operational continuity, the SPD module can be safely replaced while the system remains energized, ensuring uninterrupted protection for your electrical infrastructure.
